Common questions about prevention pest control in residential property and commercial
How to prevent common residential and commercial pests?
The basic way is spraying the skirting board with a chemical called CAS, which kills cockroaches, ants and spiders. This is used both inside and outside of the property. Insects will crawl over it and it gets in their digestive system which kills them.
How often should you get your property pest controlled?
Ideally, this should be done yearly. Some places require every 6 months if they’re prone to more pests.
How much does a pest control spray like this cost?
For an average size property, prices can start from $100-$150, but you will receive a customised quotation for your individual needs, as every property is different.
How long does a pest control take?
An average size property will usually take less than 30 minutes to complete.
What is the best time of year to spray for pests?
During summer it is generally a lot worse for pests. This is because ants, cockroaches and spiders tend to be more active during the summer months. During winter you’re not going to have as many pests, but because it is very cheap and effective, people often get it done in both summer and winter. Although if you only get a yearly pest spray, it is best to get it done at the start of summer because that’s when the insects are most active and hatching.
